Out of all the PlayStation I've owned Ps4 controllers didn't have that quality of years lasting I still got my ps1 and ps2 controllers. You usually only need to do this once save the template in steam and launch from desktop mode. So swipe left up down can all be customised within Steam Big picture mode.
You can make it 1 button in steam or 4 buttons. Touchpad/trackpad is just so handy I love it. But the PS4 stock got pulled from shops then restocked due to ps5 shortages. Ps5 controller seems fairly good I've only had my friends. I do love that touch pad the PS5 is the best option forget the ps4. Zeroxx, I can see what you mean with the microsoft monopoly on xbox and windows, so i looked at 8bitDO, but i'm second guessing buying the xbox controller because the gameplay video snippets that i've seen all have the playstation controller buttons in the spell options in the corner.
